Sindh Rangers is determined to bring the youth of Lyari together through sports. Rangers Lyari Youth Festival is about to start with a spectacular opening ceremony on Saturday, 15th July, 2017.
Lyari is home to many sports like football, boxing, body building and cycling however the image of Lyari was tarnished by some negative elements in past. Due to being exposed to violence for a long tenure, the youth of Lyari has been perturbed but after restoration of peace in the town sports activities resumed once again.
This month long sports festival will kick off with a musical event where Shazia Khushk, Shehzad Roy, Jawad Ahmed and other national singers will perform live on stage. First of it’s kind laser light show in Pakistan is set to be part of the event along with specticular fireworks. Entry to the opening ceremony will be free.
Events of boxing, football, cycling and cricket will be part of this festival where teams of different UCs of Lyari will compete with each other.
Sindh Rangers aims to promote happiness, health, education and peace among the residents of Lyari through these kind of events and people of Lyari are thankful to them.
