A short film, 2×1=2, produced by AWR films, direct by Adeel Wali Raees, a young and genius film maker and actor from Lyari, was screened at Baghdad International Film Festival, Iraq.
2×1=1, a Lyari made film, is based on a character of a child who loves getting education. The story is that much interesting that it led this film to be among 8 top films from different countries, to be be screened in the festival.
Festival was held from 14th to 17th of this month at Jaafar Ali Hall of Fine Arts.The films were screened not only in there but in different universities of Iraq as well.
2×1=2 has been selected and screened in different national and international festivals and received different awards as well. Talking to HamaraLyari.com from Lyari, Adeel said, “The film was shoot in the worst law and order situations of the town. The harder it was to shoot, the swift it’s come to the summit of it’s success. We will stop at nothing cause we believe hard work never goes unrewarded.”
