How to live a good life?

The ultimate expression of life is living a good life. No matter if you have a nice paycheck, if you have a Ferrari, if you have a billion rupees bank account and a big and cozy home. You won’t be satisfied with all above without living a good life.

So what would be a good life then?

Thousands of people in the world are rich enough but only some of them are able to live a good life. Why so?

The answer is in the list below where I have written some essentials to live a good life. Read it and then find yourself the answer of “Am I living a good life?”

  1. Be Happy

I consider happiness as the fundamental key to living a good life. Being happy is a choice. It is up to you that you want to be happy or be sad. But choosing the right option sometimes becomes difficult for anyone. But it is so simple.

The focus is the key to be happy. If you start focusing on things that make you feel happy, you will start enjoying it. If you focus on things or you think something that makes you upset, you will feel sadness in you.

Another key is progress. As mentioned in my previous article I mentioned setting daily goals as the main point to become an entrepreneur. Once you set yourself daily and long-term goals, try to achieve them. Setting a goal and achieving it will make you satisfied. When you come to know about it that you are moving forward in achieving your goals, you will definitely feel happy.


Have faith and believe in yourself

What if I’m wrong?

This is the question which never let you do anything big and live a happy life. The moment you do what you believe is absolutely right, you win the match.

When you have negative thoughts like “I can’t”, “It’s hard”, be conscious about them, push them aside, replace them with positive thoughts. According to psychology, one can have only one thought in mind at once. So again it’s up to you to choose between negative thoughts and positive thoughts.

Negativity is contagious. Stay away from the people with negative thoughts, but in a polite way. Your believe and your thoughts are most important for you. Listen to the people but don’t let them influence your thinking. You know very well about yourself than others. Befriend with people who love, support and believe in you.

The power of your mind is strong. If you will start believing in yourself and in your abilities, you will soon realize that you are being successful towards living a good life.

  1. Live for yourself

For living a good life you must live for yourself.

Most of the people in the world are living under stress and anxiety because they are not living the life they want to. They are living the life what their parents, teachers or bosses want them to.

Many of your friend you may know that they wanted to become something else but their parents wanted a different path for them. Some people do oppose them and live their life on their own terms. Be one of them.

Remember one more thing. Never compare your life with others. Some people were born into a rich family, having everything with them. Stay grateful for what you have and make those things your goal to achieve. Never be jealous of someone. Jealousy will ruin.

  1. Encourage others

Encouragement brings a lot of changes in someone’s life and indirectly it makes you happy. Encouragement goes straight to the heart.

Praise the people around you for their even little achievements. Appreciate their efforts. Look out your co-worker for any support. Everyone needs someone to be in their corner.

Encourage the people around you with affirming words for their qualities and personality.

Show them the care. One of the best ways to encourage someone is to show that person you care. Talk about their family, friends, hobbies, interests, fears, challenges and dreams. This empowers and encourages them.

  1. Grow your friend’s circle

Find the people that you enjoy being around the most and share with them your best moments. Grow the circle of your friends. Friends have a great impact on making our life happy. A recent Swedish study found that maintaining a rich circle of friends is as important as doing some physical activities.
